International Scientific Physics Olympiad 2026

ISPhO brings together the best young physicists from around the world to test their knowledge in theoretical and experimental physics.

Due to the high risk of logistical challenges for participants caused by the current global situation, it was decided that the International Scientific Physics Olympiad (ISPhO–2026) will be held entirely in a remote (online) format from June 21 to June 30, 2026. This year, the Olympiad will not have any in-person venues.

We are deeply convinced that the digital format will attract an even greater number of talented participants from around the world. Participation in ISPhO 2026 will give teams a unique opportunity to test their skills in solving the most complex theoretical and experimental problems based on cutting-edge scientific models.
